Minister Karim also said, “Many employers are concerned about punctuality, attendance and customer service which affect the bottom line in all companies…We also invite you to visit training providers closest to you and if you have a particular need we will assist.”

Unprecedented First Postal School launched

Senator the Honourable Fazal Karim, Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training delivered the Feature Address at the Memorandum of Understanding Ceremony to establish the first postal training school in the country between the National Training Agency (NTA) and the Trinidad & Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPOST) on Wednesday 6th May, 2015 at the National Mail Centre, Arouca.

UTT to expand Maritime Training

On Wednesday April 22nd 2015, Senator the Honourable Fazal Karim, Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training met with Minister of Transport Stephen Cadiz and Minister of National Security Brigadier General Carl Alfonso to discuss avenues for improving apprenticeship opportunities within the maritime sector and explore the establishment of a Naval Academy through the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard (TTCG) and University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).
