Message of Condolence from the Minister of Education

Minister of Education, Anthony Garcia extends his sincerest condolences to the family of Mr Clive Pantin. Mr Pantin, over the years, had established himself as a stalwart in education and in general, a true patriot of Trinidad and Tobago. With a stellar career in education spanning from the first lay principalship of Fatima College and subsequently assuming the office of Minister of Education, Mr Pantin will be remembered for his willingness to serve and his commitment to all people.

Having served as chairman on an advisory committee on education  and having had a close working and personal relationship with Mr Pantin during his time at Fatima College, Minister Garcia describes Mr Pantin’s passing as “A loss that cannot be measured or explained. The work and commitment of men like Clive Pantin are an example that all our young people should strive to emulate.”

Mr. Pantin is the founder of Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL) which distributes clothing and foodstuff to the poor, an organisation that the Ministry of Education has up to recently engaged to support its hurricane relief efforts.

Minister Garcia went on to express his sincerest appreciation for the contribution made by Mr Pantin to the ministerial office he now holds. To all who have been personally or indirectly impacted by the work of Mr Pantin, Minister Garcia reiterated condolences on behalf of the Ministry of Education.
