Introduction to what the Unit does
The Rudranath Capildeo Learning Resource Centre (RCLRC) Library caters to the information needs of professionals in the education sector of Trinidad and Tobago. It encourages tertiary research in all aspects of education among the Ministry of Education’s staff and also extends to teacher training colleges, the University of the West Indies, other institutions and libraries, as well as the general public.

- oan of resources,
- photocopying and printing,
- internet – use of OPAC computers,
- individual and group study areas.
- Purchasing of new books for School Libraries
Occupational Research Unit (ORU)
Introduction to what the Unit does
The Occupational Research Unit (ORU) updates and maintains the Dictionary of Occupations (DOTT) and the National Occupational Classification of Trinidad and Tobago (NOCTT). Occupations are classified and coded consistent with the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08) set by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Multicultural Music Programme Unit (MMPU)
Introduction to what the Unit does
The Multicultural Music Programme Unit (MMPU) is primarily responsible for the implementation of a Multicultural Music Education Programme which works in tandem with the current Primary School Music Curriculum.
Primary school students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds benefit from guided instruction in their exploration of the effective use of diverse instruments in order to stimulate positive musical growth, develop their aesthetic sensibilities, become music literate and learn to use music as a valuable outlet for the expression of emotions and ideas.
Services Provided
Services offered include:
- Provision of Administrative and Professional support for several initiatives designed to improve the quality of education provided under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education.
- Provide tuition/training to Primary School teachers and students
- Participate in events requiring music organized by the MOE
